Encyclopaedia Britannica, the oldest English-language encyclopedia which has been in continuous print since it was first published in 1768, is moving into the digital age, Reuters reported. The company will stop publishing printed editions, but will continue selling them until its stock of 4,000 sets runs out. Britannica will continue with digital versions online. The company struggled with financial losses as the digital products became more readily available. "Britannica was one of the first companies to really feel the full impact of technology," said Jorge Cauz, president of Encyclopaedia Britannica.
