Tropical Storm Francine likely to become Category 1 hurricane

Tropical Storm Francine, which developed in the Gulf of Mexico Monday, is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane Tuesday night and make landfall Wednesday over Louisiana. By the end of the week, it is expected to weaken into a depression as it moves up the Mississippi Valley.
