NBC 5 FORECAST: Heat Advisory through Wednesday

A typical late-summer pattern of triple digit heat will tighten its grip on North Texas this week. In fact, the longest stretch of 100-degree days in a row is likely over the next several days. While the actual highs each day will range from 100 to 103, the heat index will be higher (around 104-109). A Heat Advisory is in effect for much of North Texas through Wednesday. This will likely be extended throughout the week.
