NBC 5 Forecast: Severe storms possible into Sunday morning and Sunday evening

There's a slight chance for thunderstorms to develop tonight into Sunday morning, which could bring damaging winds and large hail.

Another chance of thunderstorms arrives by Sunday afternoon and evening. While the overall coverage will be spotty, this activity could become severe (especially east of DFW). Be sure to stay weather aware!

A brief cool-down arrives Monday with a good deal of sunshine. An unsettled weather pattern arrives by mid next week with several days of storm chances. Some areas of North Texas could witness over two inches of rainfall by next weekend.
