LIVE RADAR: Flash flooding, thunderstorms continue, severe threat low

Another round of rain and thunderstorms is moving through the Metroplex on Thursday, with rain continuing well into the afternoon.

Heavy downpours and frequent lightning can be expected. Although the severe threat is rather low, a couple of storms could produce brief gusty winds and perhaps some small hail.

Locally heavy pockets of rain could lead to areas of flooding, so be careful on the roads and be sure to turn around if you encounter a flooded road.

The chance of rain on Friday appears lower, but a few isolated storms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, cannot be ruled out.

A few spotty showers are still possible into Saturday before things dry out completely on Sunday.
