It’s sort of a mixed bag of weather this weekend from patchy fog to warm and breezy sunshine to a possibility of storms. NBC 5 Chief Meteorologist Rick Mitchell says there will be many dry hours.
The weekend forecast will begin with cloud cover and fog early Saturday. Sunshine will return by late morning and 80s can be expected.
There's a slight chance for brief thunderstorms late Saturday night, which could bring gusty winds and large hail if they develop.

WATCH HEREThere's another chance of thunderstorms Sunday evening. While limited in coverage, these could be severe if they get going (especially east of DFW). Be sure to remain weather aware throughout the weekend.
A brief cool-down arrives Monday with a good deal of sunshine. An unsettled patter arrives by mid next week with several days of storm chances Wednesday into next weekend.
