Our weather over the next several days will be rather pleasant and tranquil. Through the weekend expect a good deal of sunshine with comfortably low humidity. Temperatures will begin to increase above normal by this weekend (normal: 85) back into the upper 80s.
Next week promises to feature more of the same. Daily highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with lows in the 60s.
We're monitoring Hurricane Helene as it approaches Florida. The storm increased in strength overnight and is expected to become a Category 3 later today. Currently, no direct impacts are expected for North Texas, but a few showers may occur to the east from the remnants of the storm on Friday.
