NBC 5 Forecast: Continued warm for now, but changes are on the horizon

A shift to cooler and wetter weather starting Wednesday

Warm and dry weather will continue this weekend. A weak cold front moving through North Texas will bring slightly cooler temperatures this afternoon. However, it'll still be above normal, with highs climbing into the low 80s today. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the mid 80s. (Normal high this time of year is 75 degrees.)

A pattern change is expected by the middle of next week, bringing cooler and much needed rain to the region. Stay tuned!
