LIVE RADAR: Sunshine returns Thursday; more showers this weekend

Continued cool for the next few days

Wednesday's rain is moving away and clearing is expected overnight. Patchy fog is possible early Thursday, but much of the day will feature sunshine mixed with occasional clouds. It will be cool with highs in the 50s.

Friday will be a chilly day with early morning temperatures in the low to mid 30s. Afternoon temperatures will only climb to around 50. Clouds will increase through the day with a chance of some late afternoon showers. Additional showers are likely this weekend, but it won't be a washout.

Saturday will be cool with highs in the low 50s, while Sunday's highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

Monday will be dry and quite mild with highs in the upper 60s, but a cold front will drop Tuesday temperatures back into the low 50s.

A weak disturbance has brought clouds and rain back to North Texas on Wednesday. NBC 5 Chief Meteorologist Rick Mitchell tells us how that will change later this week.Β
