After a chilly start, temperatures will rebound nicely this afternoon with high temperatures around 70 across North Texas.
Weekend temperatures will be into the 70s thanks to a stronger south wind. While Saturday looks dry, a few showers may develop Sunday afternoon. Widespread rain appears likely Sunday night into Monday when showers and thunderstorms arrive. A couple storms could be severe Sunday night with gusty winds and hail. These showers and storms will extend into Monday morning.
The wet weather will be followed by a strong cold front Tuesday. In fact, the coldest air of the season is set to arrive with highs in the 50s for a couple days. Low temperatures will drop into the 30s and we could see some frost late next week. Stay tuned!
