Sunny and hot weather continues this weekend across North Texas. Saturday's temperatures will reach the mid to upper 90s with an afternoon heat index of 100 to 103. While Sunday won't be quite as hot, it'll still bring well above average temperatures with highs in the low to mid 90s and a heat index in the upper 90s.

A cold front will push into North Texas Sunday night with a few spotty showers and storms lingering into Monday morning. Temperatures will return to the 80s for the week ahead.
