Another round of rain and thunderstorms pushed through North Texas Thursday. It produced 0.75 to 1.50 inches of rain across DFW. There was some minor street flooding but no severe weather locally.
Those storms have moved through east Texas and will be producing severe weather in Arkansas and Louisiana overnight.
For North Texas, a few spotty showers will linger this evening, but mainly north of Interstate 30, and especially along the Red River. Some patchy fog is possible overnight and into Friday morning. But Friday afternoon will bring sunshine and a nice warm up. Our above-normal temperature trend will continue through the weekend. But a cold front will drop temperatures by New Year's Eve and then cooler weather will persist as we begin 2025.
