Bitter cold is expected Monday morning, with wind chill values (feels-like temperatures) in the single digits and teens. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for North Texas, including Dallas and Fort Worth, until 10 a.m. Monday.
This cold air mass will stick around for several days. Highs are only expected to be in the 30s most of the week. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper-20s. By far, this is the coldest air of the season so far!
Winter precipitation is possible late in the week in the form of accumulation snowfall. The chance of a winter mix begins Thursday morning. A transition to snow is possible during the day Thursday and into Thursday night. Stay tuned as details continue to be ironed out!
