Thursday will be a day of transition. The day will begin with sunshine and then become cloudy late in the day. Temperatures will climb into the low 60s, but a strengthening south wind will make it feel cooler.
Rain chances return Friday. We are expecting widespread low clouds and drizzle during the day. A better chance for scattered showers arrives Friday night. There may even be some thunder with more substantial downpours to the east of DFW.
A Pacific cold front will eventually sweep through, but not before showers Saturday morning. Some of this rain may linger for a couple hours in DFW Saturday morning before exiting to the east by midday. Saturday afternoon looks mild with sunshine returning.
Another system late Sunday will bring more cloud cover, rain chances, and potentially thunderstorms into Monday.
