NBC 5 Forecast: Snow Exits, Cold Continues

Winter weather exits North Texas this morning

NBCUniversal, Inc.

In wake of our first winter storm of the season, mostly cloudy and chilly conditions are expected today. Slick roads will still be a concern this morning. High temperatures this afternoon climb into the upper 30s.

Temperatures plummet tonight with skies becoming clear. Lows will tumble into the teens and 20s by early Saturday morning. Any lingering moisture on the roads will re-freeze. Black ice and slippery conditions will again be a concern.

The weekend will be dry and a bit warmer with sunshine returning and highs back in the 40s.
