Weekend temperatures will be into the 70s thanks to a stronger south wind. While Saturday looks dry, a few showers may develop Sunday afternoon. Widespread rain appears likely Sunday night into Monday when showers and thunderstorms arrive. A couple storms could be severe Sunday night with gusty winds and hail. These showers and storms will extend into Monday morning. Monday afternoon will be dry, breezy and mild.

The wet weather will be followed by a strong cold front late Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday look quite cool with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Low temperatures by the end of next week will be in the 30s and 40s.
