Severe weather is possible over the next few days with the heaviest, wash-out rain most likely on Friday and Saturday. NBC 5 Chief Meteorologist Rick Mitchell has the latest forecast.
North Texas will be in a rather favorable weather pattern for showers and thunderstorms over the next few days. There is a chance of storms late tonight into Wednesday morning. Some of these storms could be severe, producing damaging winds and large hail.
Several days of rain and storm chances are in the forecast. While not every day will washout, the likelihood of heavier rain will go up by Friday. Rain totals of 2-4 inches are possible before all is said and done.
