NBC 5 Forecast: Two cold fronts Thanksgiving week

Cooling down today and again on Thanksgiving

Two cold fronts will arrive this week. The first cold front pushes into North Texas on Monday dropping afternoon temperatures into the 50s. Overnight lows will drop into the 30s and low 40s.

The second, stronger cold front arrives Wednesday night into Thanksgiving Day with another batch of cooler air. Thursday will be breezy and much cooler with highs in the 50s.

Much of North Texas will have their first freeze of the season on Friday morning. Lows will be in the low 30s. If you have potted plants or sensitive vegetation, you will want to cover or bring them inside.

No rain is expected this week making for good travel weather in Texas.
