In wake of a strong cold front, Thanksgiving will be blustery and colder with highs in the low 50s along with a north wind gusting over 20 mph.
Widespread frost is expected Friday morning, and some areas will experience their first freeze of the season. A freeze watch has been posted for areas north of Dallas-Fort Worth thru Friday morning. Lows will be in the low to mid-30s. If you have potted plants or sensitive vegetation, you will want to cover them or bring them inside. Bring pets in for the night, too.
