Showers and thunderstorms continue to move away from North Texas into Southeast Texas and Louisiana. The severe threat will remain well to the southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Showers and even some rumbles of thunder are possible for this evening as our storm system departs and a cold front moves in.
Thanks to significant rainfall across parts of North Texas, some clouds and fog are possible for Sunday morning. Otherwise, the sunshine will return by midday with temperatures remaining well above normal. Highs on Sunday will climb into the upper-60s to lower-70s. It gets even warmer on Monday as breezy southwest winds send highs into the mid to upper-70s by Monday afternoon. A cold front will drop temperatures by New Year's Eve, with cool weather sticking around as we ring in 2025.
