The new week will start warm and windy. Highs will be well above normal in the mid to upper 80s Monday and Tuesday. Winds will also be increasing, gusting above 35 mph Monday and Tuesday.
An active week of weather change is upon us! Warm and windy conditions will contribute to a high threat for grass-fires Monday and Tuesday. The work-week will start off dry, but rain chances are finally showing up later in the week.
By Wednesday, a developing storm system will bring a chance of thunderstorms toward Wednesday evening. Some of these storms could be on the strong side. Cooler weather will push in for Thursday (Halloween) with a lingering chance of rain in the morning. Right now it's looking dry for Trick or Treating Thursday evening.
Additional rain chances are likely Friday and this weekend. Rain totals could be in the 1 to 2 inch range for many locations.
