NBC 5 Forecast: Warm and Sunny Sunday, but Changes are on the Horizon

Warm and dry weather will persist into the beginning of next week. Temperatures will continue to climb 10-15 degrees above normal, with many locations seeing highs in the mid 80s.

Winds will increase by Sunday night, with the strongest winds expected on Monday and Tuesday. Make sure your outdoor Halloween decorations are secured, winds could gust up to 35-40 mph.

A pattern change is expected by midweek, bringing cooler temperatures and much needed rain to North Texas. This unsettled weather pattern will remain in place through Election Day.
