The wind will pick up on Tuesday, causing concern for wildfires (especially west of Fort Worth). Clouds will return by the afternoon, followed by thunderstorm chances late Tuesday night (mainly west of DFW). Storm chances are more likely for DFW by Wednesday. Some of these storms could be severe, producing damaging winds and large hail.
An unsettled weather pattern will be in place for several days (Wednesday through Saturday). Several days of rain and storm chances are in the forecast. Some areas of North Texas could pick up over two inches of rainfall.
