An early morning cold front brought a return of December weather to North Texas. Seasonably cool weather will last into the weekend.

The day is starting off quite cold with widespread 30s this morning. Some patchy frost is possible. Sunshine and milder weather is in store for the afternoon with a high near 60. The wind will be light.

Friday will bring a reinforcement of chilly air with a weak cold front. Highs will remain in the 50s with a brisk north wind. Seasonably cool weather with sunshine can be expected for the weekend.

Next week will offer a chance of rain right before Christmas. Temperatures will be mild with highs in the 60s.
