Overnight thunderstorms dropped brief heavy rain and brought gusty winds to much of North Texas. The rain exited the area early this morning, as the cold front pushed eastward, leaving us with sunshine and a north breeze. Expect a high temperature of 75 degrees on Halloween, with trick-or-treat temperatures falling into the 60s under clear skies.
Dry weather will extend into early Friday before another chance of showers late in the day. The better chance of rain and thunderstorms arrives Saturday, some of which could be quite heavy later in the day. The unsettled pattern will continue into early next week.
