Near Freezing Weekend Ahead

Mild and dry weather can be expected today with mostly cloudy skies. The weather will remain mild through Thursday before a strong cold front arrives Friday. Rain will also move in with the front. Temperatures will fall into the low 40s Friday afternoon. With cold air in place, there is a chance of a wintry mix W/NW of DFW Friday PM and again Sunday night into Monday.
