NBC 5 Forecast: Tornado Watch until 9 p.m. for parts of North Texas

Numerous showers and storms are moving into North Texas today ahead of and along a cold front. Some storms could become strong to severe, particularly this evening. Torrential downpours will pose a risk for flooding, so watch for high water on the roads. 1-2″ of rain is possible for DFW, the heavier amounts (3-5″) farther west.
