NBC 5 Forecast: Storm chances Friday and the weekend

An active weather pattern is unfolding for Friday and the weekend. Friday morning, a disturbance in the jet stream pattern will lead to thunderstorms. A few of these storms could be severe with hail and strong winds. The highest chance of rain appears to be from 6 am to noon. Much of Friday afternoon looks dry, although an isolated storm or two may pop up late in the afternoon.
