NBC 5 Forecast: Steady, Heavy Rain Today

Widespread rain is setting in across North Texas this Friday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will be in place for much of the day. Heavy downpours with some gusty winds are possible. Lightning and thunder will also be common, but severe weather is not expected. The rain will be extending into this evening and tonight as well. It certainly looks wet for many area high school football games.
