NBC 5 Forecast: Near-record heat this weekend, then cooler
Elevated fire danger remains a concern this weekend. A combination of hot temperatures, breezy southwest winds, low relative humidity and continuing drought conditions will increase the risk for grass fires.
A fall cold front arrives Sunday night into Monday, bringing in cooler weather, but unfortunately no rain. Highs next week will be more comfortable, mostly in the 80s with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
