Qatar says an agreement has been reached to release an Israeli civilian hostage and allow Palestinians to return to northern Gaza.

Texas A&M Unversity says it plans to close its 20-year-old Qatar campus by 2028, with board members noting “heightened instability” in the Middle East as a major reason to reconsider its presence in the country.
