It was a travel nightmare for many trying to fly out of Love Field Thursday as an issue with a baggage belt caused a major backup for those trying to check bags. There have been long lines most of the day and travelers are frustrated. NBC 5’s Vince Sims has the story.

Customers are encouraged to arrive about three hours before their scheduled departures as wait times continue to increase.

A woman was shot near Dallas Love Field and taken to the hospital. Investigators say it happened along Ansley Avenue which runs adjacent to the remote parking area on the south side of the airport.
