Register today for the 47th running of The Cowtown February 21 – February 23.

The Fort Worth race kicked off Saturday, but Cowtown Marathon officials have issued a heat advisory for all Sunday events in downtown Fort Worth.

All day Friday, anticipation coursed through Fort Worth’s Amon G. Carter Exhibits Hall as more than 23,000 runners made last-minute preparations.

Starting Saturday morning, thousands will descend on Fort Worth to take part in the races that make up the Cowtown Marathon. Allie Spillyards was at packet pickup to find out everything you need to know for what could be an usually crowded and hot event.
