Dallas Cowboys 2010 Schedule Announced

The NFL has released the 2010 regular season schedule, and, for Dallas, it's a tough one.

The Cowboys will open up on Sept. 12, against the Redskins in Washington, at 7:20 CST. That game will be televised on NBC as the first true "Football Night in America" of the season.

Dallas will welcome the Bears to Cowboys Stadium in week two, before heading to Houston, to take on the Texans in week three. The team has a bye in week four, after which, they'll host the Titans on Oct. 10.

On Oct. 17, week six, Dallas will have a chance for revenge against the Vikings, the team that ended their 2009 season so unceremoniously, as they head north to Minnesota.

The following week, Dallas will make its 2010 debut on Monday Night Football as they host the New York Giants at Cowboys Stadium. The Jacksonville Jaguars will visit Arlington on Halloween the next Sunday.

In weeks nine and 10, the Cowboys will visit Green Bay and the Giants, respectively. The Green Bay-Dallas game in week nine (November 7) will be seen in primetime, on NBC's "Football Night In America."

Dallas will then host the Lions in week 11, and the Saints, somewhat surprisingly, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25.

After a sort of second bye week following Thanksgiving, Dallas will head to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Sunday Dec. 5. A week later, the Cowboys begin a stretch of three division games in four weeks to round out the season, at home against the Eagles on Sunday night, Dec. 12.

The Redskins will visit Arlington a week later, on Sunday Dec. 19.

The Arizona Cardinals will host the Cowboys the following Saturday evening--Christmas Day--on the NFL Network. The regular season ends with the ever-trying road trip to Philly, to visit the new-look Eagles.

According to opponents' combined 2009 record of 139-117-0, the Cowboys have the third-toughest schedule in the league.
