Witten Still Among Best Tight Ends in NFL, According to Madden 16

Witten is the third-highest rated tight end in the latest edition of Madden Football

Going into his 13th season in the NFL, Jason Witten is still among the best tight ends in football.

Just look at the ratings in Madden Football 16.

Witten is the third highest-rated tight end, behind only the New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski, who is apparently unstoppable in the game, with a 99 overall rating; and the Seattle Seahawks’ Jimmy Graham, with a 95. Witten is given a 93 rating, just ahead of Greg Olsen of the Carolina Panthers (4, 92) and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs (5, 91).

Here’s what the official EA Sports website says of their third-ranked tight end: “Witten does not dazzle with speed and quickness, but still features skills like 95 Catching, 92 Catch in Traffic, 88 Route Running, 85 Release, and 79 Spectacular Catch.”

No word as of yet if Witten is unhappy with any of his video game attributes, as Dez Bryant was when it was revealed he had a modest 89 speed rating in the game.
