Former Cowboys linebacker Scott Fujita has called it a career and retired as a New Orleans Saint.
A fifth round pick in 2002, Fujita spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs before being traded to the Cowboys, with whom he spent the 2005 season. After that, he was one of a handful of players to follow Sean Payton from Dallas to New Orleans, where he won a Super Bowl.
Fujita ended his career in Cleveland, where he played three seasons. He was suspended for the first three games of 2012, as a result of the NFL’s investigation into the Saints’ bounty program.
In his lone season in Dallas, Fujita recorded 53 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles.
