Scandrick Calls Off Engagement to Reality TV Star

Apparently, Orlando Scandrick proposed to his reality TV star girlfriend last month

It’s early July, almost another three weeks until the team arrives in Oxnard, CA for training camp, so for another little while, any real Cowboys news is going to be focused on stuff that happens off the field. With that in mind, Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick has broken up with his reality TV star fiancée, Draya Michele of VH1’s “Basketball Wives LA.”

TMZ reported the news on Tuesday.

“I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya,” Scandrick told TMZ. “In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose. I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally.”

Apparently, Scandrick--the Cowboys’ best cornerback the past two seasons--proposed and bought a pretty big ring for Michele last month. They had dated for around two years.

For her part, the Basketball Wife Michele told TMZ just days ago that she planned on inviting Jerry Jones to the wedding. Now it appears Jerry will have to find something else to do that day.
