Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders was just a high school kid when Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” was released, but apparently the song had a strong impression on a young Prime Time.
Sanders appeared on Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” on Thursday evening, where he took on the young Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber, and it’s safe to say the former Falcon, 49er, Cowboy, Redskin and Raven stole the contest when he donned a white tutu, a long string of white pearls and a blonde wig for his rendition of the Madonna classic.
Meanwhile, Bieber sang Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train.” Sanders’ first song was “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry.
In the end, Sanders won.
“Justin, it was tight. It was close,” Sanders said, per Inquisitr. “Now you understand why they call me [Prime Time].”
