Cowboys Donating $500,000 in Merchandise to Harvey Evacuees

Instead of their final preseason game, the Dallas Cowboys are hosting a donation drive for Harvey victims Thursday at AT&T Stadium. The team has also pledged to donate $500,000 in merchandise, including clothing, to Harvey evacuees in North Texas.

The Dallas Cowboys have already pledged money to help Hurricane Harvey evacuees, and now they are providing clothing.

Cowboys players, cheerleaders and the Jones family will make a stop at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Dallas on Thursday afternoon to help make the donation.

In a press release Wednesday, the team said it plans to unload approximately 300,000 pieces of apparel donated by the team's merchandise division to those in need.

Items included in the donation are shirts, fleeces, outerwear and rompers, with a total value of approximately $500,000, the team said.
