Chloe Kim won gold in the womenβs snowboarding halfpipe final, successfully defending her Olympic title from PyeongChang. Kim is the first woman to win two gold medals in the halfpipe. Kim dominated from the start of the final when she opened with a huge method air, then nailed a frontside 1080, a switch 900, switch backside 540 and a cab 1080 to score a 94.00 on Run 1.
Lindsey Jacobellis β Snowboard Cross
Lindsey Jacobellis' road to redemption was complete when the 36-year-old became the first U.S. athlete to clinch gold in Beijing. Jacobellis, who was known for the 2006 Turin Games mishap that cost her gold at the last minute, can now lay claim to being the oldest medalist in the sport as well as the first to bring home first place for Team USA during the 2022 Winter Games.
Colby Stevenson β Freestyle Skiing Men's Big Air
After a poor first run, Team USAβs Colby Stevenson rebounded in his second and third to win the first-ever Men's Big Air silver medal with a total score of 183.00.

Team USA's Ryan Cochran-Siegle won silver in the Menβs Super-G event on day four, 50 years after his mom, Barbara Ann, won the gold in slalom at the 1972 Sapporo Games. Cochran-Siegle almost brought home USAβs first gold medal but was 0.04 seconds short of Austrian Matthias Mayerβs time of 1:19.94.
