Weather Could Blacklist Arlington

Future Super Bowls here in question

Well, whaddya know? There are some things around here Jerry Jones can't control, weather being one of them.

Jerry and his boys sold the NFL brass on the mild winter climate in North Texas as one big positive in landing Super Bowl XLV -- when's that thing over again? -- because we never get an Arctic blast down here during February. OK, well almost never.

But Snow Miser wanted to prove his power over his brother in Southtown, and look what that pointy-nosed bastard wrought.

Much the same happened in and to Atlanta a few years back. A Southern city, hosting its first Super Bowl, gets bitch-slapped by Mother Nature, and the NFL takes its ball and plays Super Bowls elsewhere. Might Cowboys Coliseum land on that same blacklist?

Jerry’s not worried, at least publicly. But those cold seeds must be planted in Commissioner Roger Goodell's mind.

Jerry built the behemoth, in part, for this very week. Word has it he wants to see the golden anniversary game, Super Bowl L -- "L" means "50" for those of you unfamiliar with the Roman system -- played here.

But we might just have gotten a black eye because of the white stuff.
