No vote Friday night in Ken Paxton impeachment trial

After Lt. Governor Dan Patrick ordered the Senators to deliberate until at least 8 p.m. Friday, there were several seen leaving the chamber — some to their offices and at least one leaving the building. None of them answered reporters questions about why they were leaving or what was happening. We were told there would be no vote tonight.
