Carrie Fisher wants to revisit a faraway galaxy that existed a long time ago, in a manner of speaking.
The actress, who was recently announced as the new public spokesperson for Jenny Craig, set a goal for herself: she wants the option of fitting into the infamous Princess Leia gold bikini she wore in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi", reports US Magazine.
Fisher, who said she's already lost 12 pounds since she started the portion-controlled eating plan, hopes to lose 30 pounds in total in an effort to partially put back on the costume that sent fanboys hearts all aflutter 28 years ago.
"I would like to have the option of getting back into the metal bikini," she said at the Jenny Craig announcement press conference. "I won't be doing that, but I'd like the option."
She also wants to lose the weight in an effort to strike back at her critics.
"I Googled myself recently without a lubricant and I came across a posting that someone made about me which was, 'What ever happened to Carrie Fisher? She used to be so hot, now she looks like Elton John.'"
"Yeah, that hurt," she replied.

Fisher, 54, said she's already halfway to her goal and feeling good about things.
"I'm glad that I'm thinner," she told US. "And I'm glad that I found a way to get thinner."
