Actor Omar Metwally was not going to let an opportunity like working with acting legend Sir Anthony Hopkins pass without getting an acting tip or two.
So Metwally took time during the South American filming of "City of Your Final Destination" to pick Hopkins brain about the craft.
The results: "He talked about how he would read his script and go through the lines over and over and over," Metwally tells PopcornBiz. "He said like 250 times."
After that "he becomes so familiar with his dialogue that it becomes second nature."
Of course it can lead to some domestic issues if the line happens to be the Hopkins classic, "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
Metwally says, "I tried to engage him in conversation about how he works. It's not every day you get to work with someone like that."
For the record he insists Hopkins is a "very laid back, natural guy."
"And he didn't try to eat my liver or anything," Metwally adds.
