A driver with a medical condition fatally struck a road crew worker Tuesday morning in Fort Worth, police say.
Police were called at about 10:15 a.m. to the 10600 block of Camp Bowie Boulevard where the driver of a truck hit and killed a construction worker.
The driver had to be extricated from the truck and was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
The member of the road crew was indentified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as 45-year-old Phillip Szurgot.
No other information was available on the driver's medical condition or current condition.
