Authorities said a woman was critically injured after crashing an ATV into an animal in Denton County overnight.
The woman was one of two people riding ATVs on Lloyd's Road in Little Elm. Authorities said she hit a feral pig and flipped the ATV.
Police said the woman, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered life-threatening injuries. She was taken by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition.
The woman's identity has not yet been released.
