So what to make of Apple’s decision to pick Austin for a major expansion and all the jobs and prestige that come along with it?

Dallas probably never had a shot at Apple, given that the tech giant has been operating in Austin for over 25 years and already has 6,200 workers there. But it’s still worthwhile to consider how the regions compare and how Dallas can boost its game.
