Dallas police are investigating a serious crash Friday afternoon that followed a bank robbery nearby.
Police said the suspect fled the Comerica Bank branch in the 11100 block of Garland Road in East Dallas just after 4 p.m.
The suspect then lost control of his vehicle and crashed at the intersection of Easton Road and East Lake Highlands Drive, coming to a rest upside-down.
The suspect was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
