A fire broke out at an abandoned high school in Dallas on Tuesday for the third time in as many months.
Dallas Fire-Rescue is investigating the cause of the fire at the former Maya Angelou High School on South Beckley Avenue.
The fire was reported around 6:30 p.m. and firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the two-story building.
Officials said the location of the fire is in the same place where fires were reported on Sept. 25 and Oct. 13. The causes of those fires were undetermined.

Our partners at The Dallas Morning News reported that the building previously housed several specialized schools, including the John Leslie Patton Jr. Academic Center, Barbara Mann Disciplinary Alternative Education Program, and Maya Angelou High School for new and expectant student mothers. The paper reported that the building has been slated for demolition.
There were no injuries reported.
