Amber Alert

AMBER Alert discontinued for 6-year-old from Ingram, Texas

Law enforcement officials believed the child to be in grave or immediate danger

NBCUniversal, Inc.

The AMBER Alert was born in 1996 when local media teamed up with local police to develop an early warning system to find abducted children following the abduction and brutal murder of 9-year-old Amber Hagerman, of Arlington.

A statewide AMBER Alert issued for a missing 6-year-old boy from Ingram has been discontinued.

The Ingram Police Department asked for the public's help finding the boy and two people he was last seen with Wednesday.

Authorities said the boy was found, it is not clear where the child was found. Law enforcement also did not provide information on the man and woman believed to have been involved in the child’s disappearance.
